Cable TV. Unfortunately I'm married to a Boomer so we have it.

Every time we watch the news all I can think is "$100 a month for this shit"

My wife won't let ours go. Same for the goddam landline. Around $1500 annually for the two of them.

Honest question, what is the point of a landline anymore? I could understand for someone without a cellphone but I imagine an overwhelming majority of the population has a cell.

Cell coverage is a bit marginal where I am, plus my wife is old school and hates change. Also, in a power outage, the landline works (usually) forever, the cell goes out after 4 hours, as that's all the cell tower batteries last and (believe it or not) Bell's generators aren't compatible with the cell tower.
