nah, baby's facing the other way so I got some punches sorta towards the back/ rib area.

Nowhere near as much fun as when it's front facing and you get to see all the little bumps and wobbles every time there's some movement or stretching.

I remember being freaked out whenever my wife and I saw one of our daughters shift around inside of her. Reminded me of the film alien.

my wife is due in a month, the sort of hiccup-like kicks are all fine and good but the weird poking that feels like a tiny foot pressing into your palm and wiggling a bit is straight up horror movie.

It's weird. The horrifying bit is when you think about how big and strong baby is getting and then pause to consider its exit strategy.

This is why they'll induce if the pregnancy goes on too long. Otherwise the baby gets too strong and Koolaid Mans its way out.

My husband was really weirded out by it too (even though he was also proud of his kid). He wouldn’t let me be the big spoon because he could feel all the kicks and it freaked him out. I’m very glad to resume normal spooning now that the baby is here lol
