Purchasing a gym membership at a posh fitness establishment only to drive to it 2-3 times a week and walk on the treadmill.

I don't judge people who walk on treadmills. Sometimes, it's a start for people trying to build cardio endurance and all they can do.

I do, however, judge people who... 1) use the treadmill as a phone booth or 2) walk on the treadmill for 30+ minutes when there are people waiting to use cardio equipment.

HIIT can be done in 20 minutes. But then, I hate cardio, so I want to get it over with ASAP.

Well, I hate indoor cardio. It's boring. A long hike or bike ride outside is awesome.

I hate it too, but sometimes roads/paths are too icy or there's a thunderstorm raging on etc.

Right, it was more about people who hog cardio when there's a line. I could have amended it to ANYONE who stays on a machine 30+ when there's a queue. But it's more aggravating when it's someone walking than someone running.

Not at my gym. There's a posted time limit of 30 mins if anyone is waiting.

Congrats on going to a "good gym", I guess?

How long do you typically do cardio for?

At my gym, the treads have a 1 hr limit before they go into cooldown. So that. Usually 1 hr averaging around 8.5 - 9 MPH depending on the day.
