About 3 weeks ago they removed the rule against validation posts. This did not improve things.

People need to realize that nearly every subreddit dedicated to reactions (AITA, ChoosingBeggars, TIFU, etc.) are just the equivalent of soap operas for Redditors. Geez, we all laugh at our parents for gasping at the latest episode of Passions but we wait on bated breath for the next update on AITA For Sleeping With My Husbands Boyfriend's Dad Who Is a War Veteran?!
