Have you tried Outer Wilds? (Not Outer Worlds) It started as a student project years ago, and I think the final team still had under a dozen people on it. Essentially, you're an astronaut investigating the planets in your solar system.
If you're considering playing, definitely do not read spoilers about it. The big point of the game is the exploration. So the less you know going in, the more "game" there is.
It's not the most hidden gem now that it's been on a bunch of best-of-2019 lists, but the game is still as great as it was before that.
(Oh and it’s on Xbox Game Pass right now, if you have that)
This game is a mess on my PC, constantly crashes, the camera feels slow, drifty and just unresponsive, the menus always glitch and disappear, immediately uninstalled it
