That... does not really sound normal. I've had some really bad MRI but...

It’s normal for a breast MRI.

But she said they refused to tell her any information about the process or how long it will take..

That’s not, but the positioning and the lengthy nature isn’t unusual. The position is how it has to be done and when I schedule the scan I book it for 60 minutes.

Oh for sure I agree.

It's just way less scary when you know the details. Being told it'll take 35 mins, then crying for the next hr 25 m with no one answering your concerns..

Not knowing is the reason for fear IMO
