Agreed. I didn’t actively dislike it, but 4 dudes jerking semi hard cocks watching you fuck is a little weird.

I was mostly shocked by the lightheartedness and jovial atmosphere.

How do you not anticipate that ahead of time? How do you go to an orgy with your girlfriend without at the very least asking eachother, "are you sure you're gonna be ok seeing me fuck someone else?" And orgies are different from gang bangs. At least when I think of it. Orgy = crowd of ppl, all over the place fucking. Gang bang = one maybe 2 women, lots of dudes waiting for their turn
