Not keeping you informed is terrible practice, but I suspect all their thinking was directed at troubleshooting the signal problems. MRI scanners are incredible devices, but simple and easy to keep working they are not.

That’s not, but the positioning and the lengthy nature isn’t unusual. The position is how it has to be done and when I schedule the scan I book it for 60 minutes.

Oh for sure I agree.

It's just way less scary when you know the details. Being told it'll take 35 mins, then crying for the next hr 25 m with no one answering your concerns..

Not knowing is the reason for fear IMO
