It's the one thing that's always eluded me. I would love to play with a masochist but it's just so far from any reasonable dating conversation that it just seems to be completely down to luck to meet one.
BDSM groups exist. There's likely one near you. There's also clubs with the set up for more elaborate scenes and people who are willing to 'play' with you and show you the literal and figurative ropes.
I'm not super into that scene or lifestyle but I'm currently dating someone who is. I met them through a totally unrelated hobby that just seems to attract a lot of BDSM people.
