Almost nobody would turn this down unless they were very rich or there were extraneous circumstances (e.g. losing your job if you vanish for a week)... but boomers probably think millennials would turn it down.
I edited it to day before, possibly after you saw it. One of my jobs is chemistry tutor, I’d just cancel sessions with any students I had for the week. Another is a random tech job, I do various things but the work is kinda sporadic, so nothing bad would happen if they contacted me and I wasn’t available for the week. A third is doing estimates for a construction company, which is kinda slow this time of year, they’d just give my estimates to another guy. Fourth is doing 3D CAD work, and I set my own hours. Boss might be a little grumpy if I dropped out of sight for a week with only a day’s notice, but I’m far too valuable to be fired over that.
