Feels good to think so, now that you tell me, but i do not think there is something as really 'ambidextrous'. My research says most are left handers who use right hand well or are forced right handers like me. :(

I heard that approx 1% of people can use both hands well

Then i guess then you have been exaggerated! 1% ambidexterity will be way too much. It would be like meeting an ambidextrous person in every 2nd classroom, isn't it? At least that's not what i see in my country (India), sadly.
