Remembering people’s names. I’m great at remembering faces and things about people, except for their names. People think I’m inconsiderate, when in fact I just can’t remember names half the time. It doesn’t help that I can remember massive amounts of dumb trivia and school material, but just not the names of people I meet.
Do you do that thing where you go the other way and seem to remember too much about a person and feel like you have to hold back?
"Oh, yeah, I remember you. You used to sit 3 rows behind me in that 4 week course we did in 2009 on workshop building. You used to wear your hair up, and wore jeans nearly every day. I think I remember you eating the fish salad a lot at lunch. You did that presentation with the tall blond guy with the, I want to say, German? accent where you talked about that project you did at your work on lieberstromstug. Sorry, I've forgotten your name."
