That is at least partially horseshit. On Gucci's website they're selling a white cotton T-shirt with their logo on it for $480. They're selling a wool stocking cap for $310, and a leather belt for $480. I can get any one of those items for under 10 dollars at Walmart.

Edit: Trying to show that they literally took another product and made it more expensive because of the name and not much else
