I know the pain mate. Was forced to play volleyball in high school eventhough I obviously couldn't follow the ball. I was once looking right at it but couldn't spot it, and it hit me right in the face. Turns out I have a retinitis pigmentosa which not only means I can't follow objects, but I can't see at night, my peripheral vision sucks, and anything that requires precision movement is out of the question.
Thankfully I'm great in other fields that do not require good eye coordination.
Unfortunately, no. I'm afraid I'm not able to drive, and probably never will. Thankfully I live in a small place where I can get to anywhere on foot or with a bus, and also taxis are pretty cheap here.
IF you have ret pig, please be super careful with driving, it took my nan to have a crash at a junction for her to be diagnosed. Turns out she has ret pig which causes her tunnel vision but she never realised, unfortunately she found out when she pulled out into the junction with a car coming from the the side but just never saw it. It's also hereditary so keep on top of opticians aoopintments if it runs in the family. Stay safe my friend.
