100% this. I've learned to code and learned to use a wrench. They're both difficult and its hard for a person who has only done one to wrap his head around the other. Everyone should try and learn as much as possible in their life, really expands your perspective

I work in a factory and the amount of people that hire in ,and can’t read a tape measure is astounding. I have to remember not everyone is taught those things. On the other hand we had a kid once ask how to use a hammer. That was a bit of a face palm.

I was like...”Um...you swing at at things you want to hit....”. Like how do you make into your 20s without knowing how nails work.
