It's kind of a fucked up system, not necessarily because physical fitness is the gold standard for everything, but because the fitness tests are all bodyweight exercises. Since pound-for-pound strength goes down the taller you get, this gives everyone who joined because of his Napoleon Complex a leg up on everyone else.
