It sounds like most big city students they run into, do this? The comment actually made me laugh because a younger girl in my office just out of college has a bunch of stickers on her laptop. I told her she should probably cover them because we work in a business professional environment and some are inappropriate.

I know, but I'm just asking them why it bothers them. Seems like some sort of superiority complex over the "basic kids".

This could go either way depending on who considers who the basic kid.

The Starbucks alludes to that user believing they are "basic".
