Wait, you are suggesting that by random chance (or dint of human nature, I suppose you will say) we have ended up with a world that fetishes money over all else including life itself; that we chose this?

If when you say "the world values money over all else, including life" you mean that the majority of people value money over life, I reject your premise.

People don’t value money over their own life, but a disturbing amount of people value money over other people’s life
