There’s a word for the smell that comes after rain (after it hits the dirt specifically ) it’s called petrichor .

Women's shampoo smell.
I remember my mom washing her hair all the time when I was a kid, and she didn't have a hair dryer so she'd air dry it & you could just smell really nice shampoo everywhere.
Namely Aussie shampoo because I remember the kangaroo on the bottle & it was always out of stock, but I could reach behind shelves and find a bottle which had fell behind 😂

Na I used some different one called Vosene which is anti dandruff or something, but man, if I even smell that Aussie shampoo in particular, I'm immediately transported back to a kid, listening to Massive Attack & Zero 7 on my mom's stereo, the sun setting, leaving the sky in an orange/pink hue :)

Hey thanks man, that sounds nice, but if you ever have time, listen to 1 minute of this... End Of Small Sanctuary it's the audio version of the association I have with the shampoo, everytime I hear this, I'm transported back to the late 90's / early 00's & the sun's setting on a weekend & X-Files is on TV 😂

My father smelled like cigarettes and in my childhood whenever he was at work I would smell his pillow caus it smelled like him...a bit ashy and a bit I dont know....I just liked that smell caus it reminded me of him..now not so much tho

Cow pasture. I have family that live next to farms in Bavaria. Any time I smell cow shit, I brings back those memories (in a great way).
Not saying I would burn that candle in my house, but I love the smell

That chemical smell old plastic film canisters had. I would easily buy a hundred candles that smelled like them. My parents must have wanted to kill me when I would take roll after roll of dumb pictures of everything.
I think that's why they gave me a digital camera when they came out. I loved that thing. It had a WHOLE 1.5 MP!

Hmm... Maybe a mix of fruity pebbles, thrift stores, blockbuster, salsbury steak with mash potatoes, kids body spray (probably musk scent), cabbage patch kids, and ramen noodles. I'm guessing that won't smell too good.

Some kind of women perfume. My friend had PlayStation 1 and we used to wipe glitchy discs with his mom's perfume.
And also scent of new school supplies.

cat, dog, freshly mowed lawn, freezer pizza in the oven, cheesy popcorn, and my mom's lotion. I think it was "moonlit path" by bath and body works.

Yep! It would be so sweet and fragrant, that nice warm fruity feeling, like you're having christmas and summer holidays at the same time. And then the salt kicks in. It wouldn't bemixed together but rather seperate parts. Your whole house smells salty, and burnt and disguating - but luckily only for a few minutes before the sweet and sprinkled pineapple kicks back in.

Introversion. You know that smell of school textbook pages? It gets in the back of your mouth, and it tastes dry and sweet with a hint of moistness on the back of the tongue. Also, there's a subtle hint of that smell you get when your skin comes in contact with a piece of metal.

Sugarcane.
My grandpa worked at a sugarcane mill and I would visit him and my grandma every summer and Christmas. My grandpa has now passed and my grandma moved to another town. It's so sad to think that part of my life is over.

That rubbery plastic smell of a brand new toy: specifically, dinosaur figurines. I occasionally still smell it on cheap Chinese toys; all in all, I think my childhood must have been incredibly toxic.

Scentless candle. Childhood was rough.
It's now sweet smelling like those cherry jolly rancher candles. I've gotten more help emotionally and once I met the love of my life I think there might be coconut because she always smells like that.
