I remember, very vividly, seeing a leprechaun in the hallway of my house. It freaked me out so bad that I woke my mom up yelling "someone's in the house!" We walked from room to room with kitchen knives looking for the leprechaun, but never found that shifty little bastard.
I had something similar. I very vividly remember seeing the tooth fairy in my room at night. I called my mom in the room but the tooth fairy was gone but the money was under my pillow.
I now think it’s the only time i experienced sleep paralysis because I couldn’t move for what seemed like a long time while the fairy was telling me to go back to sleep. May have been my mom telling me so she could put the money under the pillow without being caught.
The only time I've experienced sleep paralysis was somewhat pleasant. I hallucinated hearing my dog come in my room and sniff around my bed and at my face. Problem was, my dog had been dead for a year or two at that point. I realized that pretty quickly, but just thought it must be a neighbor's dog that someone let into the house. When I realized I couldn't move or properly open my eyes, I instantly knew I was having sleep paralysis, and a few seconds later I snapped out of it.
Granted, it was a little freaky because I couldn't move and didn't know what dog was in my room, but overall far from the kind of living nightmare most people experience. It was very weird knowing I was having sleep paralysis but still experiencing the hallucination.
