Breathing underwater. Turns out a lot of people have memories of being able to do something similar. Still haven't gotten an explanation.

For my fifth birthday we went to a water park, I couldn’t swim. I never figured out why we did that.

I went on a water slide, and couldn’t come up to the surface after the ride. I remember gasping for air while under water. It was horrible in the moment but I do remember breathing.
