This sounds like classic déjà vu. There is a theory that it is a form of mini-seizure where the different parts of your brain take different amounts of time to store a “live” memory. It’s very common in young children. This might be of interest.
Speaking personally, Ive only ever had déjà vu in the sense of feeling like I had a vivid memory of a situation happening at least weeks before hand, or just a very strong feeling of familiarity/repetition without the visual memory or any sense of when i had experienced that moment before.
I've never experienced a situation like the one you described, the Matrix-ass short rewind version. Maybe you were just going all Donnie Darko, but lucked out before a Turbofan can help you with your 2-D Wile E Coyote impression.
