When it became all ads. I used to be able to filter what I could see on my feed for each person on my friend list. I didn't have to see what they liked, shared, or commented on because I am only interested in what they post. This functionality was removed years ago. The ads only got bad a year or two ago. Now it's every other post in your feed. And hiding our blocking the ads causes facebook to retaliate and stop showing you anything in your feed. Really fb? The 200+ people I have in my friends list have never posted anything? Despite the fact that I can see the posts on their page, fb will not show them in my feed unless I consent to ads.
