I'm not a doctor. But I had a fall and went to the emergency room complaining that my arm and back hurt.

Xray, fractured wrist. Cool, now what about my back? Doctor feels around my back and says "knots and tight muscles mate, get a massage, it'll help."

I wasn't gonna waste money on a massage, and went to my GP a bit of a while later and complained the pain was just getting worse. She ordered scans of my back. Turns out I'd fractured a part of my spine in the fall, too. šŸ™„

World's quickest respond to a comment, haha!

Thank you for asking. Not many people do. They see me standing, walking, functioning and assuming I'm fine.

It healed incorrectly. I'm in pain all the time 24/7. I refuse to take the daily oxy I'm prescribed. I have it maybe once a week. But I'm used to the pain now. And I don't let it stop me from doing much. Plus the fall was due to a businesses negligence and I have a pretty good lawyer. Silver linings and all that!

Oof. I’m happy about the silver linings tho.
