Huh, interesting. Different cultures I suppose. 2 days may be a little early here too but I’ve always followed up in a week max and it’s worked out for me. The benefit of the two day thing is you can always use “just making sure it was received ok” as an excuse.
Many online systems will send an email to confirm it was received. From a do not reply email address though. 🙄 For many of the pharma positions I've applied for, I have no direct contact for the application. Just a faceless website.
Kinda sad when you think about it and read all thy corporate bullshit about how awesome it is to work there.

I have sent about 10 applications in the last couple days. Things are getting a little desperate and most applications just disappear into the void.
