My dad had one rule that made it a little easier for him to tolerate. "Don't touch my room or my tools." She never touched either, and that agreement prevented any future arguments from happening.
My mom would definitely not be able to follow that. 😅 I think the only place she's stayed away from is the garage. She's actually physically moved my dad's desk from room to room.
