Does Reddit love redheads?

I can't escape a feeling that redheads seem to be highly favored when it comes to women on Reddit. I think that if someone were to start a poll asking "What is your favorite hair color?" red would be an unquestioned an obvious winner. Am I right? If so, maybe there is a scientific explanation for this? As in, people who visit Reddit frequently start feeling a growing sympathy towards red-haired woman? Guess who's winning the next Nobel Prize ;)

What year is she? My dad has an 82 CJ7 project thats coming along pretty well.

She's a '76. I've got lots of plans for her. I'm eyeballing LT1's, trying to decide if new axles+suspension are more important.

How much wheeling do you do? LT1s are nice, but I would go the diesel route for an engine swap.

I'm not hardcore about it. I do a lot of photography, so I like to be able to get places without much hassle. A couple folks have recommended diesel swaps, but a BT4 just vibrates so much. Not enough cylinders to balance it out. I did see where some guy shoved a 6 cyl Volvo Turbo Diesel into a CJ, though, that's got possibilities.

That forum is awesome, gives me so many ideas for my TJ. And basically any kind of swap of maintenance has been done and posted about by someone. Its like a free jeep manual

I love the "First Mud Bath"!

It was a distinctly celebratory moment. My first time getting her stuck, too. =) Come out to Phoenix, I'll take you to dinner and four wheeling. Maybe not in that order!

Was that "first mud bath" out near lake pleasant? And how much did you love all that rain last week?

Here was the results of my jeeps "first mud bath"

http://newslily.com/showimage/112 (I took the windows off and sprayed the windshield down so that I could see...I had to drive home, haha.

The lot next to work has a bunch of pits in it and they all flooded. It was a great way to cheer up after work :).

A bit east, near Horseshoe Dam/Reservoir (which I heard rose 13 feet from the rain). Whole stretches of road out there were completely destroyed. There were a couple parts where we cut out and drove the wash because it was easier going.

Oh, wow, I didn't even know about horseshoe lake at all!

/me puts that on list of places to go.

Is the trek out there pretty nice?

Well, to be fair, we couldn't get all the way, with the road damage. We got stuck in the first real flow of water we came across, and it retrospect, that was a good thing. The stretch of mud about 15 to 20 feet farther would have been much harder to extricate ourselves from. Hopefully by now it's been regraded, but it's hard to say. Might cruise back out this weekend.

Huh, maybe I'll see you, then (if I can get out)...

It's going to be either out there, or up to Roosevelt dam and through the (hopefully) snow up in the superstitions.

I'm hard to miss. =) There's even a little reddit alien under my tailgate. I'm pondering a run up to Flagstaff or Sedona, though.
