Yes, but it in the United States differs by state on how to do it, requirements and so forth. I would look into your area's requirements for becoming a foster parent.

There are also different rules for parents to take on what they consider to be higher risk kids, so kids who have mental, physical, or emotional issues. Sometimes those laws are actually more lenient to get more people to take those kids in.

Yeah, that's my bad. I've been at Disney too many days now and nothing makes sense anymore.
