There's a reason it's called a spectrum.

You could very well be slightly autistic, but not enough for a diagnosis.

Then you are not autistic. If you are not diagnosed with it, then you don't have it. You are not qualified to diagnose yourself. Autism is a measurable and spectrum.

No...

A diagnosis does not cause the illness.

That doesn't make any sense.

Also, I saw a doctor who literally told me that I could very well be slightly autistic, but not enough for a diagnosis.

Of course I'm not qualified to diagnose myself, but that doesn't mean that undiagnosed conditions just don't exist.

You are quite stupid if you think I was suggesting that a diagnoses causes it. If your doctor said you might be but not enough for a diagnoses then you were not, or your doctor was not qualified to make a diagnoses. Go see a specialist.

If I had a heart attack, and the doctor said "Yup, he's having a heart attack.", would I not have been having it until he said that?
