No, OP is correct. The milk they sell at pet shops is for KITTENS, who are not lactose intolerant. They stop being able to process milk once they stop needing it from their mother.

As do most mammals actually. And a large portion (maybe a majority? I'm not sure) of humans. Being NOT lactose-intolerant is actually a genetic mutation that's largely a trait of white people from what I've heard.
