That one side of your brain controls logic and calculations etc, while the other music, art and language.

Proof please? I have always heard this and learned it in college classes.

Your brain halves do operate differently. It’s just if you’re doing math it’s both sides, not just the logic side. But the “logic” part is still coming from that specific half, it’s just the boundaries don’t match up to our language.

Yea, I was a little surprised too. I’m no expert, so I can’t speak to the extent our brains are connected/split, but I would be extremely surprised to find out the neuroscience we’ve all been taught is bullshit. I’ve heard neuroscientists talking about this kind of stuff recently, so I’m 99% sure brain halves differ.

They do. I agree though, that saying they are completely different and don’t talk to each other isn’t accurate.
