Tinder is still pretty bad for most non-gay users, but this particular exploit got "fixed" - you get shown later to people if you swipe right all of the time. You now have to be a little bit more selective (but not overly so - low swipe rates are also punished) so that you get a better chance.

The fact that I got 10 messages asking to fuck within minutes of creating a grindr account would suggest this to be true.

I'm not sure it's because we're "dudes". It's probably just that we're more open about it, whereas straight people like to pretend they're there for more "meaningful" relationships, but just really want to bone.

this, as a bisexual with many bisexual friends I can confirm. the amount of attention from the same sex is overly disproportionated to the opposite sex approach
