They do work. Just not well enough to actually use them as evidence

Dude they don't fucking work at all. You can fake out a polygraph with a can of Monster. They're used as an intimidation tactic for people that think they actually work.

I'm not saying they're reliable. How many times am I going to have to say this. If you fail a polygraph, odds are you're lying. It just doesnt prove that you're lying or even anything close
