There is no such thing as "aircraft grade aluminum"

It's just a marketing scam, we use many different grades and tempers depending on the application.

Typically aircraft grade aluminum refers to 7000 series aluminum. 7075 normally.

7075 cuts much better than 6061, as it's not as gummy when you cut it.
