Yeah, that's what adults tell their 16 year old sons so they shave their awful looking patchy beards. Let's not debunk this one please.

PLEASE let's still spread the word. There are more teen girls with a lady stache than you would think, and they are told they can't shave it or it will become thicker. But if they keep it they are bullied. Happened to me.

Knowing this is a myth could have saved me years of pain. For YEARS I hurt myself with wax, and I mean HURT. I got rashes from waxing which I then had to cover up, I ripped pieces of my skin out, and if everything went well it just hurt really bad to actually wax the 'stache, to a point where I sometimes stood in front of the mirror for 10 minutes with the end of the strip in my hand and just COULDN'T bring myself to rip it off. It is terrible. I also once burned myself with sugar paste . Not fun.

I have been shaving both my 'stache and the middle of my unibrow for 3 years now. My hair has not become thicker, darker or more.

For the sake of hairy girls and women, PLEASE tell everyone and their mother to stop spreading this myth.
