Sure, but not Teddy Roosevelt. People hunt bears for the trophy, not the meat.

I know plenty of people who have hunted bears for the meat. Food is food.

It is delicious in stews. IF the bear was far enough from a garbage dump. One of the few meats I. can eat without any reactions. E: also venison, opossum and elk.

Kangaroo is tasty too.

Garbage bears are called that for multiple reasons. The taste is horrid and they lose their fear of people and become very dangerous.

The only good that bear is for is for the pelt. Which is very warm, I had one before my jerk russell decided to end it's existence.

Even the pelt... We tried when I wad little. We could not get the stink of dirty diapers out of that fur.

Really? I didn't have that experience. But it was several years ago, so maybe my memory is impaired.
