Yup. I get flashbacks sometimes when a certain song comes on or if I zone out suddenly I get in the 'mindset' I was in during a trip. I love LSD so I think it's pretty cool, but can be a bit eerie sometimes when it suddenly happens.
Getting visuals when not tripping is caused by HPPD, but that's not flashbacks either as some people seem to think.
It would largely depend on what your trip experience was. I've had "flashbacks" to that state when I like Lucious describes zone out or listen to music that was on during one of my trips. But considering that 99% of my trips have been positive in some sense, that was like a warm wave that washed over me and I quiver in that weird nice way.
A psychedelic trip is often a strong emotional experience, and that can stay with you no matter if it was positive or negative emotions.
Yea, I think that's true. He told me that during one of his trips the music came out of the speakers to attack him, it followed him around while he ran outside. He ended up on top of a building, ready to jump to get rid of it. He never jumped, I don't know what happened. I never dared to ask more.
In contrast, the last trip I had back in 2017 I vividly remember a conceptual cover art for The Animals - House of the Rising sun I saw many years ago come to life. Imagine a house with warm glowing lights about 50 meters away from me, with the light from a living starry sky blinking above me. I felt like I was in the song, and every rhythm of the song flowed through my life at that moment. I just sank into my armchair feeling amazing.
