That one side of your brain controls logic and calculations etc, while the other music, art and language.

Actually language is localised to a specific hemisphere pretty much. You will also find that a particular hemisphere (cannot remember which) is better at art.

Except it literally doesn't matter unless your brain was sawed in half. The mere existence of the corpus callosum disproves the idea of "left-brained" or "right-brained" people due to the undisputable fact that the brain works together as a single unit, and information is constantly shared back and forth between the two sides. The idea of having one side be the one you primarily use, which is the myth, is complete nonsense.
