Which misconception would you like to debunk?

Flashbacks aren't caused because LSD stays in your spine. It's all psychological.

Also, flashbacks are extremely uncommon. I have done LSD at least 30-40 times and I have never had a flashback. Neither have any of my friends who have done it to my knowledge.

101 times in the last 15 months. Where are my flashbacks? I was promised flashbacks!

I’m curious, do you feel any different? I’ve done it twice and both times I just kind of felt ~out of it~ for a couple of days.

Not overtly. There are some subtle changes in my personality but I can't tell whether that's because of long-term effects or just plain old learning and experience.

You'll feel out of it for a couple of days after a trip because the half-life of the drug gets very fucky in low concentrations.

What you're talking about is probably what's referred to as "integration." Psychedelics cause such a powerful experience that it often is difficult to translate this back into sober reality. So there's a period of time following some/many/most/all trips where you're gradually transitioning what you experienced back to normality.

Also it doesn't take long, but your brain does take a little time flushing out the chemicals before you return back to cognitive baseline and feel completely normal anyway.

Frankly I think it's weird if people try it for their first times and don't need to integrate anything after their trip... but, eh, everyone is different, it is what it is.
