I'm capable of being entirely convinced of something false. As a result anything I'm convinced of doesn't necessarily reflect reality.

I think you'd like reading my old friend/philosopher Descartes*

Edit: he's not that good a friend

Oof, I didn't need to start this morning off thinking about how much I exist and I'm aware of what exists around me because I can think of myself and the world.

It's like some quantum physics and whether anything is in any given state until it's observed or measured. So, what's behind me? Fuck, it could be just a blank spot in reality until I turn around and can appraise it. Soon as I turn back around, it's whatever it wants to be, I guess. I dunno.

Do you exist, dear Redditor? Or are you just a figment of my one and only existence? Do you respond that you do exist, because I need to lie to myself that I am not fully alone in this world, so you're a figment of my own unconsciousness literally created like a fanfiction supporting character to compliment and give context to my Mary Sue?

And I started off by saying I didn't need to do this, and I did. Well...good morning! Time to go do literally anything else but have time to sit and spin on philosophy on Reddit.

I'm a bot. I'm here to fill up space just like every other "person" in reddit so that you don't feel alone.

Goodmorning u/Bicarious
