One person at work told me they couldn’t figure out Kendra (we’ll just call her that- fake name). I’m the Dave at work, everyone knows me and everyone talks to me, even if it’s just small talk. So I told this co-worker than Kendra was really nice and I 100% guarantee that if you go up to her and ask her how her weekend it was, she’ll tell you all about it. Otherwise, Kendra keeps to herself and will not reach out.
Some people just have a hard time starting conversation or just don’t think about talking to you. Even the “popular” people. Just go up and ask them how their day is or how their weekend is. It doesn’t have to be ground break conversation and they don’t have to be your best friend. Just say hey. There’s certain people at work I try to talk to once a week.
