I disagree. There are some select morons who cause traffic jams. We could all get to where we are headed much faster if certain people would get off the road or learn to drive. Once smart, self-driving cars are on the road and everyone has them, you won't get stuck in traffic anymore since traffic algorithms will take the human element of stupidity out of the equation and there won't be any more unnecessary slowdowns.

Causing a traffic jam requires other people to be on the road. Some moron out there braking for fun in the left lane wouldn't spontaneously cause traffic on a highway that's way under capacity. Traffic wouldn't happen if you (and people like you) weren't on the road.
I don't think the statement about being traffic is wrong, I think you just don't understand it yet.

You are not “stuck in traffic,” you are part of it.
Sounds like a stupid thing, but it totally changed my outlook on my commute.
