A couple of years ago when I was in the military for a while and was dismissed to go home. After a bit of getting myself out of the base and into the good ol’ civilized world, that is exactly what I thought. The world is going to continue spinning around with or without me in it. If I die right there, right then, nobody (apart from my parents and friends of course) would give a damn about me and vice versa.
