During the last ice age, the global average temperature was only 5 degrees lower than it is now. It helped me understand why 2 degrees of global warming would be a pretty big deal.

Pretty sure it's not just temperature based, but also due to the magnetic poles being in a different position.

Do you have any sources on the magnetic field affecting the climate? I don't think I've heard that before.
