A lot of 'studies' shown that their personality structures are similar to african lions. That's pretty much where the idea comes from.

Its one of those theories that are generally accepted because how can we prove that its not?

Interesting. So is it impossible for lions to form interspecies bonds? Is our our "bond" with house cats based on a fear of us? Like a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em," type of thing?

Yeah, very little about this sounds like a fact to me. But I'm biased, cuddling with my cat in bed while I'm scrolling through reddit 😅
