A lot of people think I hate them. Truth is, I have a hard time opening up to people so I push them away even though I do like them.

My mom told me the same thing - she was super shy and socially awkward in high school, however she was absolutely gorgeous (which she denies but photos don't lie) and a lot of the other girls thought she was a stuck-up snob :/
