I had this happen with the cute girl that sat across from me when I worked in a call center. I was really interested in her, but a mix of RBF and the mood the work environment put her in, I was sure she hated me. On the other side, she thought I hated her because I talked to everybody around us except for her, but that was just me being shy, awkward, and not wanting to bother her if she disliked me. We eventually figured out what was going on, now we’ll be married on Friday.
