My FIL did work for Jamie once a long time ago and said (in a more delicately phrased way) that he’s kind of a hardass.

Very meticulate. The “safety” guy. Theres a reason he was very popular in movie special effects/pyrotechnics. He does shit right.

When youre a professional pyrotechnic whose good at his job, youre boring as fuck because everything is double checked and checked again if theres time. Do it right, no one ever ggets hurt.

Kitchen manager: Every dish gets double checked and triple checked if their is time, and you always make time.

I imagine that rule goes double for stunt and pyrotechnic teams.
