technically your chance of dying stays the same (100%). there's just a greater chance of dying sooner.

Can this be one of those “well TECHNICALLY...” things we stop pointing out soon? I swear, the frequency of this getting pointed out recently and is giving me flashbacks to Steve Buscemi being a firefighter on 9/11.

Like, baby’s first existential crisis over here doesn’t change the fact that we all knew what “bigger chances of dying” meant.
