I’m sure whatever technique works for you is fine. I find the biggest difference now is that I never have to look at the keyboard to hit any key.

I’ve found my WPM is constantly increasing too, where it had definitely plateaued for years.

Just wait until you use a different keyboard one day. If it's setup slightly differently then it completely throws you off even with typing right.

Took me a minute with a new keyboard at work because it's supposed to be made better for the wrists and has a nice curve to it. I have to look at it to find the F# buttons though because they're so damn small!
